Inspired by the bold and assertive eyeglass frames worn by Buddy Holly, the El Rey brings a new attitude to the classic cat eye by adding squared off details and sleek temple construction.
Frame Name Inspiration:
Originally constructed in 1936, the El Rey was an active single screen movie theatre for over 50+ years. After a brief detour as a dance club called Wall Street in the ’80s the venue found its footing as a live music venue in the early ’90s and continues to delight audiences with its iconic Art Deco design and regal interior.
